Español avanzado II (Lectura)

General Course Info

Students will read and discuss the content of the novel, ¨La isla bajo el mar¨, by Isabel Allende. Through group discussions and written assignments, students will:

  • Fortify understanding of various verbal tenses, sentence construction, idiomatic expressions
  • Broaden repertoire of vocabulary
  • Hone their Spanish discussion skills at an advanced level.

Prerequisites

Admittance to this course requires demonstration of proficiency of levels 1, 2, 3, and 4 concepts. Student must have successfully completed the level 4 course, or must demonstrate advanced level Spanish profiency.

Activities include lecture and group activities.

Maximum of 8 students can be accepted into this course.

Registered students can pick up their novel as of Monday, December 28. It is recommended that the first chapter is read by the first class.
