Español intermedio avanzado (nivel 3)

Upon completion of the Advanced Intermediate Spanish course, the student will:

  • Fortify understanding of preterite and imperfect tenses
  • Broaden repertoire of vocabulary
  • Understand concept of the subjunctive tense
  • Further explore future, present present, pluperfect and imperfect subjunctive tenses
  • Master understanding of such intermediate level concepts as demonstrative adjectives, double object pronoun placement, relative pronouns, commands, stressed possessive adjectives, the differences between ¨ser and estar, concordance, and irregular verb conjugation.

Prerequisites

Admittance to this course requires demonstration of proficiency of level 1 and 2 concepts. Student must have successfully completed the level 2 course, or must have scored at least an 80% on the Intermediate Spanish exam.
